Worship Services

Wednesday in Holy Week                 5:30 pm          Stations of the Cross

Thursday in Holy Week                      7:00 pm          Maundy Thursday

Maundy Thursday liturgy with foot-washing and Holy Communion, and the stripping of the altar.  Followed by all-night vigil before the Altar of Repose. The Church will be open so you may “watch and pray” for one or more hours, as Jesus invited his disciples to do, between 8 pm Thursday and 12 noon Good Friday.

Friday  in Holy Week                          7:00 pm          Good Friday

Good Friday liturgy, with adoration of the Cross and Holy Communion from the Reserve Sacrament.  This is the one day when Holy Eucharist is never celebrated, as we remember the suffering and death of Our Lord.

Easter Sunday                                     10:00 am        The Resurrection of Our Lord

We celebrate Christ’s triumph over death, as God raised him from the dead; and we celebrate the sacrament of Baptism and new life, following the tradition of the Early Church, which welcomed the new Christians who had prepared over many months for reception into the Church.  Bring a bell to ring as we end our Lenten fast and rejoice on this glorious day.  Bring your United Thank Offering Box if you were filling one in the tradition of having a Lenten “Mite Box.”

The primary worship service, normally Holy Eucharist, is at 10:00 on Sundays.  We offer a mid-week worship (normally Evening Prayer) on Wednesday followed by twenty minutes of contemplative prayer. Christmas Eve services as announced in the newspaper and on the “calendar” link on this website.
